The BKF Nationals will be held in Edinborough Scotland Meadowbank sports centre Sept 5th & 6th 2009 The Karate-Do Federation hopes to support event we are waiting for the 2nd wave of BKF entry forms as the 1st ones we received were not complete and are now being looked at by the bkf and ammend catagorys etc inline with the WKF \EKF rules see easy jet for flight details www.easyjet.com but please dont book flight untill the entry forms have come in and you know what day you may be competing |

SKDF Lee Rose takes Silver |

Lee Rose 2nd Dan recently fought his way to the final of the Toyokwai Karate Championships at the Goresbrook Leisure Centre, Dagenham 15.2.2009 Essex. Lee beat an English Champion and a Brazilian International on the way to lose in the final to England International Alton Brown. Lee was sharpening his skills and getting ready for the forth coming EKF National in Sheffield in March. Sensei Tony Gray 5th Dan said he fought excellently beating some quality fighters on the day, well done Lee. Also Robert Sanders fought on the day and lost to the eventual winner unfortunatly there was no repechage for Robert to prove his worth. |
